From my first phone call to Monaco on Bay to Bay, I knew this salon was different. Nola was warm, welcoming, and kind, and she immediately put me at ease. By the time I sat down in V...irginia's chair, I already felt I was in the right place. She listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, explained exactly what she planned to. There was no rushing and no guessing. Every step was deliberate and professional. Within minutes, she identified the structural problem with my previous haircut and developed a plan to restore the shape while preserving as much of my remaining length as possible. She didn't promise miracles—she simply demonstrated exceptional skill. The result exceeded my expectations. My hair immediately felt fuller, healthier, and more cohesive. For the first time in months, it held its shape, and actually behaved the way it should. I walked out feeling like myself again, and after months of frustration, I was actually excited to style my hair the next morning. What impressed me just as much as her technical ability was how gently she treated my hair. She never pulled, tugged, or rushed through the appointment. Every interaction reflected respect—for my hair, my concerns, and the years I had spent growing it. An unexpected highlight of my visit was the kindness of another stylist who took the time to compliment me on my hair color. After being on the fence for years about extensions for my fine thin hair; I came across this salon on IG. I decided a consult wouldn’t hurt and the whole process was seamless. I LOVED that my stylist, Krista, was more focused on making sure it matched my lifestyle and hair health and talked me thro...ugh options better suited than what I originally wanted. The day of the appt cost even less than the quote because once I was in the chair she altered the plan even more to better fit my wants and needs. I’m so happy with my decision. My experience with Wally was the absolute best, All the way from the moment I walked into the salon, I was treated so hospitable and well taken care of my hand tied weft extension experience couldn’t have been better truly. I went from using tape in extensions and many other forms of extensions on m...y fine hair and had all kinds of damage. Wally was the first person I’ve ever let install and trust with my hair to use the hand tied wefts, already I can tell you she’s super gentle and I don’t feel any tension on my scalp I can barely tell they are even in my hair. She did an amazing job I look forward to my healthy hair journey as prior I’ve always killed my curls using heat and I can now wear my hair more natural curly since she’s installed textured hair. thank Wally for such an amazing experience! A local friend recommended Jordan at Monaco so I scheduled a consult. We talked about my current situation of fried, bleached, chemical cut chaos I had going on and what I needed to do to get it back to healthy luxurious lusted after locks. We discussed color and extensions. Monaco has their own lin...e of extensions and I had used Bellami for long as I can remember. I’ll admit, I was extremely apprehensive about switching hair but I decided to go for it. I mean, what’s the worst that can happen?! We came up with a game plan and scheduled the appointment. I couldn’t be happier! Color? On point! Extensions? So much more comfortable while still being full! My hair is getting healthier and growing out.
